Details action for Host Instance

Quickly discover if and how your Host Instances are being used, empowering you to optimize and troubleshoot your BizTalk environment with confidence.

From Monitor Views where you have access and where BizTalk Host Instances are included and Remote Actions are allowed, you can use the Nodinite Web Client to view Details for the selected BizTalk host instance.

Detailed information about the selected Host Instance is displayed with the following tabs:

Details

To view the details for the selected BizTalk Server Host Instance, press the Action button and select the Details item:

Host/Host Instances

The 'Host/Host instances' tab displays information about the host and configured Host Instance. You see host instances from all nodes, and the information is cluster aware.

Applications

The 'Applications' tab shows which BizTalk Applications use this host.
Application Details
List of Applications configured for the selected host instance.

Receive Locations

The 'Receive Locations' tab displays which Receive Locations use this host.
Receive Location Details
List of Receive Locations configured for the selected host instance.

Send Ports

The 'Send Ports' tab shows which Send Ports use this host.
Send Port Details
List of Send Ports configured for the selected host instance.

Note

Dynamic send ports are NOT listed!

Orchestrations

The 'Orchestrations' tab displays which Orchestrations use this host.
Orchestrations
List of Orchestrations bound with the selected host instance.

Adapters

You see two tables: one for Receive Handlers and one for Send Handlers. For example, if you have a Send Host named sendHost32, there should be no receive handlers associated with this host. These tables help you configure your BizTalk environment to reflect your actual intent.

Tip

One of these figures should almost always be zero (for example, send hosts are only used on send ports).
