Managing MuleSoft AnypointMQ

Monitoring Features

List of resources that can be monitored by using this agent

  • AnypointMQ Brokers
  • The server(s) and core services
  • AnypointMQ Queues
    • Age verification (warning/error) - Set the maximum allowed age for messages on the queue
    • Count (warning/error) - Set the maximum allowed message count on the queue

You can individually fine-tune thresholds per queue.

Actions

A User with access rights to a Monitor View with AnypointMQ Queues where Actions are allowed can perform the following Actions.

  • List Messages
  • Download
  • Save All As Zip
  • Edit Thresholds
  • Remove

List Messages

View all messages currently in the AnypointMQ queue. This action provides visibility into message content, metadata, and queue depth without removing messages from the queue.

The List Messages view displays:

  • Message ID
  • Message content preview
  • Timestamp
  • Message properties and headers

Note

This action is read-only and does not consume messages from the queue.

Download

Download individual messages from the queue for offline analysis or troubleshooting. This action allows you to save message content to your local machine.

You can download:

  • Individual message payloads
  • Message metadata and properties
  • Headers and routing information

Save All As Zip

Bulk download all messages from the queue as a compressed ZIP archive. This is useful for auditing, compliance reporting, or batch analysis.

Tip

Use this feature to archive messages before purging queues or for regulatory compliance purposes.

Edit Thresholds

You can either use the global settings for the queue using Remote Configuration, or you can individually set different thresholds for different queues.

Warning

When you opt to save, the Resource will be changed to a "Specific AnypointMQ Queue" (may impact your Monitor Views depending on filter).

Remove

Remove the queue from Nodinite monitoring. This action deletes the specific threshold configuration for the queue and reverts it to using global settings.

Warning

Removing a specific queue configuration will revert the queue to global threshold settings. The queue itself remains in AnypointMQ and continues to be monitored using global thresholds.
