DaysToKeepMonitorEvents - System Parameter
The DaysToKeepMonitorEvents System Parameter determines how long the history for state changes on Resources is retained in the Log Databases. Every time a Resource changes its evaluated state (for example, from OK to Error), a Monitoring Event record is written and persisted to the active Log Databases.
By default, Nodinite retains this history for 90 days (as recommended in the Install and Update Tool), but you can override this to match your organization's auditing and compliance policies. The Monitoring Service is responsible for periodically purging old records, reducing manual effort and storage costs.
System Parameter Name | Data Type | Values/Example | Comment |
---|---|---|---|
DaysToKeepMonitorEvents | integer | 90 days | Default = 90 |
This feature is available from Nodinite version 4.
